Dziurzynski Returns

Press Release

The Saskatoon Blades are getting a big addition to their lineup.

20 year old forward Darian Dziurzynski is on his way back from the American Hockey League. The winger from Lloydminster has been away from the Blades for several weeks. He first spent time at NHL camp with the Phoenix Coyotes. After his experience there, he was re-assigned to try out for the Portland Pirates of the AHL.

Dziurzynski has spent four seasons with the Saskatoon Blades, appearing in 239 games. Last season was a career-year for him as he scored 35 goals, added 22 helpers and put up 125 minutes in penalties.

He is expected to be in the lineup when the Blades play their next game. That comes Saturday night as they play host to the Edmonton Oil Kings.
