OCN's Krahn named MJHL Player of the Week

OCN Blizzard goaltender Matt Krahn was practically unbeatable last week, earning him MJHL Player of the Week honours.

The 20-year-old from Winnipeg posted three consecutive victories ─ one a shutout effort ─ for the Blizzard who moved above the .500 mark with a 3-2-1 record. Over Krahn’s three-game stretch, he gave up only four goals on 87 shots on net. The big goaltender (6-foot-2) improved his season record to 3-2, highlited with a sparkling 2.16 GAA and .919 save percentage.

The runners up are 18 year old forward Brent Wold of the Portage Terriers and 19 year old forward Jeremy Olynyk of the Winnipeg Blues.
