Brown Bears sign NA3HL top prospect

Press Release

After a 7 point weekend, Trace Jeblin showed the Brown Bears scouting staff the choice to use their only NA3HL tender on him was a good one.

This week as all 16 NA3HL teams converged on Derrien, IL for the combined NAPHL and NA3HL showcase, the chance to grab the attention of the many NAHL teams scouting there was something Trace Jeblin intended to take advantage of.

Trace did so by compiling 7 points including the first 2 goals of a dominating victory over the Toledo Cherokee early Tuesday morning. Afgter the conclusion of another dominating win, Trace was offered a tender from the Brown Bears and gratefully accepted.

Trace Jeblin is a 94 birth year that has spent his previous hockey career playing for the St. Louis Jr. Blues AAA program and made the move to play juniors this year to experience the tough day to day grind junior hockey provides to help hone his game.

Trace is looking forward to the chance to display his hard work and above average skill at our main camp this year, and hopefully earn the chance to don the Brown Bears uniform next year in Alaska.
