Brown Bears sign NAPHL top prospect

The Brown Bears used one of their NAPHL alloted tenders to sign Alec Butcher of the Pike's Peak Miners Midget Major Hockey Team.

Alec is a native of Achorage, Alaska and looks forward to the chance to play his junior hockey career back in his home state. Alec is a 5' 10" forward weighs in at 165 and currently has 24 goals, 27 assists for a total of 51 points in only 32 games for the Miners.

Alec's coach, Greg Vanover had this to say about Alec: "Alec has an amazing hockey I.Q. and truly can see the play developing before it happens. The combination of his skills and hockey sense is something not often seen in a player this early in his career."
