INDIANAPOLIS—The Indiana Ice announced today that forward Jake Fallon has committed to play college hockey at the University of Vermont next fall. Vermont is a member of the NCAA Division I Hockey East Association.
Fallon joins defenseman Ian Spencer as the second player on the Ice’s current roster to commit to Vermont. Former Icemen Brett Bruneteau and Ben Albertson are currently on the Catamounts’ roster.
In his second season with the Ice, Fallon has been a force offensively for the Ice this year. His 18 assists ranks him second in the USHL in helpers while his points total of 26 puts him in a tie for fourth in the league. Fallon is ranked second on the Ice roster in points and has logged eight multiple-point games this year.
