Force deal Sandler to Wichita Falls of the NAHL

Press Release

The Fargo Force made a roster move after tonight’s convincing 7-1 win over the Omaha Lancers. The team has traded forward Luke Sandler to Wichita Falls of the North American Hockey League in exchange for future considerations.

Sandler started his USHL career with the Fargo Force, scoring one goal in 13 games during the 2009-10 season before being moved to Des Moines. He picked up a goal and an assist with the Buccaneers in 16 games over parts of two seasons.

He finished the 2010-11 season with Tri-City where he scored a goal and added five assists in 29 games.

Fargo re-acquired Sandler through the 2011 USHL Entry Draft. He had played in 17 games and picked up three goals and three assists prior to being dealt to the NAHL. Sandler had a plus-minus rating of minus-3 and also had eight penalty minutes in Fargo this season.

Sandler is expected to make his NAHL debut on Saturday night against Texas.
