Green Bay's Conner Honey Traded to Seattle

The Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) have traded forward Conner Honey to the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League.

“Conner simply couldn’t balance school and hockey,” said head coach and general manager Derek Lalonde, “Conner was a good teammate and we wish him the best of luck in his future hockey endeavors.”

In 17 games this season with the Gamblers, Honey posted 1 goal, 6 assists and a minus 2 (plus/minus)rating.

Currently the Gamblers own the best record in the 16-team United States Hockey League, with a mark of 17-3-1. The Gamblers, who have not lost in regulation in over a month, have scored a league high 85 goals and have given up a league low 43 goals.

The first place Green Bay Gamblers will be home on Saturday December 10th for Kids Day versus the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders. The face-off is set for 6:05pm at theReschCenter.
