PA RAIDERS: Receive Contribution from Cosmopolitan Club

Press Release

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – The Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League have received an early Christmas present from the Prince Albert Cosmopolitan Club in the form of two stationary bikes for their Weight Room. The Cosmo Club, represented by long time Raider season ticket holder, Cosmo Rod Postle, will make the cheque presentation of $3,000 to Raider co-captains Mark McNeill and Brandon Herrod prior to tonight’s game between the Raiders and Kelowna Rockets at 7:00 PM at the Art Hauser Centre.

Over the summer and fall, General Manager Bruno Campese had a chance to address a number of service clubs in Prince Albert about the importance of the Raiders in the community of Prince Albert and area.

“The response from all the service clubs was tremendous,” commented Campese. “And tonight to get a cheque for $3,000 from the Cosmo Club is an incredible gesture of support for our organization! We are very thankful for the Cosmo Club’s contribution as we are in need of that equipment for the Weight Room.”

When the Rockets visit tonight it will be Northern Lights Casino Night. All fans 19 and over will get an entry to win either a Bobby Orr or Rick Nash framed and autographed jersey. Fans take their entries to the Casino with the draw to be made December 29th.
