Pistons’ Gosselin resigns; Dyck new coach

Press Release

The Steinbach Pistons regret to announce that the team has accepted the resignation of head coach Rich Gosselin, effective immediately.

Gosselin has been the only head coach during the Pistons three-year existence and felt that it was in the best interests of the team to allow a new direction to take place.

“We thank Rich for everything he has done over the past two and a half years and the ground work he has laid for the team’s future success,” Pistons general manager Mel Sonnenberg said.

Assistant coach Paul Dyck will take over the head coaching duties. Dyck has been with the organization for the past two seasons after a successful playing career that spanned 15 seasons in the IHL and DEL in Germany.
