SIKURA COMMITS TO DARTMOUTH

Press Release

Aurora Tigers forward Dylan Sikura (photo credit - Craig Campbell/HHOF) has confirmed his commitment to join the Dartmouth College Big Green beginning with the 2013-14 ECAC season.

The 5'11", 150 lbs. native of Aurora, joined the Tigers this season after recording 41 points in 54 games for the Mike Gartner coached South Central Coyotes in OMHA action. This past summer he was selected in the 14th round, 266th overall by the Erie Otters in the OHL Priority Selection, but chose to join his hometown Tigers, hoping to earn a scholarship opportunity.

Thus far this season Sikura has recorded 12 assists and 13 points in 28 games played for the Tigers, including an impressive four assist effort against Burlington on November 26. Sikura will join his brother, and former Newmarket Hurricane, Tyler with the Big Green. Tyler is currently a freshman at Dartmouth and sits second on the club in scoring with seven points in 10 games played.
