Americans Sign Prospect Parker Bowles

Press Release

KENNEWICK, WA – Tri-City Americans’ Governor/General Manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has signed 16-year-old forward Parker Bowles to a standard WHL Player’s Contract.

Bowles, currently listed at 5’10 and 150 lb., has played in 32 games thus far this season for the Okanagan Rockets of the British Columbia Major Midget League, totaling a team-high 29 goals and 60 points. As of today, the Kelowna, B.C.-native is second overall in the league’s scoring race while his 29 goals are tops in the BCMML. Bowles was originally listed by Tri-City in March of 2011 and attended the Americans’ rookie camp this past August.

“Parker is a very skilled, elite player, who has really come into his own over the last two seasons,” Tory explained. “We are pleased that Parker has chosen the WHL, and our program, to continue to pursue his hockey aspirations.”
