The commissioner of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gilles Courteau, imposed today a $5,000 fine to the Quebec Remparts organization due to public comments made by General Manager and Head Coach Patrick Roy towards the league's management.
The comments were expressed because of Quebec Remparts right winger Mikhail Grigorenko's participation at the Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects game.
As is the QMJHL's policy, inappropriate comments directed towards league personnel will not be tolerated.
