Team Yellow tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Team White would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.
A goal by Roy Grandov put Team White up 4-2 in the third period, but Team Yellow pulled to within one on Trey Olson's tally 15:24 into the third period.
Grandov had two goals to lead Team White to victory.
Team White additionally got points from Chandler Madry, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Tommy Kaddatz, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Team White were Tyler Teague, who had two and Curran Klein and Ryan Gaynor, who each chipped in one.
Team Yellow was led by Jon Hall, who registered two goals and one assist. Hall scored the first of his two goals at 7:15 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Team White. Hall's next tally made the score 3-2 Team White with 4:03 left in the second period.
Jackson Germaine took the win and made 11 saves before being replaced by Arthur Brey who made two saves. Team White incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities. Team Yellow's starting goalie, Matthew MacInnis, made 14 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Bradley Amato, who stopped 10 shots. Team Yellow avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored one goal off of two power plays.
