FIGHTING SAINTS ANNOUNCE ADDITIONS TO STAFF

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Dubuque Fighting Saints are proud to announce two new members of its front office staff. Zack Fisch has been hired as the team’s radio broadcaster and Media Relations Coordinator, and Adam Ross will serve as a Ticket Sales Representative and Promotions Coordinator.

Fisch is a 2012 graduate of St. Cloud State University, where he spent four years calling play-by-play for the St. Cloud State men’s and women’s hockey teams for KVSC 88.1 FM and Husky Productions TV. Fisch served a highly successful tenure as the Sports Director at KVSC, and also spent three years as the broadcaster for the Granite City Lumberjacks of the NA3HL. Fisch also has worked in the Northwoods League, calling baseball games for the Rochester Honkers in 2011, and the St. Cloud Rox in 2012. An eight-time Minnesota AP Award winner, Fisch was named as one of the nation’s top ten college broadcasters in the Sportscasters Talent Agency of America’s 2012 rankings.

Fisch will be responsible for the play-by-play broadcast of 64 regular season games plus exhibition and playoff games, writing, editing and distributing press releases and official team publications, plus the marketing, sale and service of corporate partnerships, season ticket packages, group tickets, party areas, club seating, suites and special events.

Ross is originally from McHenry, Illinois and is a 2012 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. With a marketing background, Ross gained experience as a game night intern for the Waterloo Black Hawks during the 2011-12 season, and also worked with the Waterloo Bucks baseball team as a front office intern prior to his hiring with the Fighting Saints. Before entering into sports, Ross worked with Mudd Advertising in Cedar Falls, and gained a strong passion for advertising.

Ross' primary responsibilities consist of the marketing, sale and service of season ticket packages, group tickets, party areas, club seating, and specialty seating areas. He is also responsible for the creation of unique game night promotions, and overseeing all aspects of game night activities.
