WARRIORS DEAL D-MAN TO FLYERS

Press Release

The Westside Warriors have traded defenseman Curtis Toneff (93) to the Winkler Flyers (MJHL) for future considerations.

In 23 games with the Warriors this past year Curtis tallied 1 goal, and 6 assists.

The Nanaimo, BC native played for the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in 2010-11, and was traded to the Warriors from the Battlefords North Stars (SJHL) last year.

“Toneff is still a young defenseman with two years left of eligibility left,” says Warriors Head Coach/GM Rylan Ferster. “We felt he deserved a chance to go in and have an opportunity at being a top 4 defenseman. This will be a great fit for Curtis, and we wish him nothing but the best”

The Warriors organization would like to thank Curtis for his tireless efforts on and off the ice with the team, and community.
