67's Hire Associate Coach

The Ottawa 67’s Hockey Club is proud to announce that Misha Donskov has accepted the position of Associate Coach with the club. Donskov has spent the last three seasons with the London Knights serving as Assistant General Manager and Assistant Coach. The Knight’s were OHL Champions this past season.

Prior to his work with the Knights, Donskov spent eight years working in the National Hockey League with the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Atlanta Thrashers within Hockey Development Programming, Community Development, Fan Development, Marketing, and Hockey Operations. Donskov was also involved in Pro Scouting with the Atlanta Thrashers.

Donskov holds a Masters Degree in Kinesiology with a Specialization in Coaching Education from The University of Western Ontario. Additionally, Misha holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Finance from Miami (Ohio) University. Donskov played at the junior, university, and semi professional level in Canada, the United States, Sweden and Norway. During the summer months, Misha and his family own and operate Donskov Hockey Development, LLC. in Columbus, Ohio.

“Misha is a dedicated and driven person who has learned the OHL game from one of the best organizations in the Canadian Hockey League,” said GM and Head Coach, Chris Byrne. “He comes to our team in the full time position of Associate Coach and will have significant responsibilities with our team. We are excited to have Misha join our team and our staff. Having his experience and passion for the game will be a benefit for our players.”
