Press Release

Indiana Ice forward Woody Hudson has committed to play collegiate hockey at Cornell University beginning in the fall of 2013.

Hudson put up 18 points (11g, 7a) and a plus-seven rating in 56 games for the Ice this past season, his first in the USHL. The 6-3, 215-pound forward also ranked second on the team with 117 penalty minutes. He scored his first USHL goal in just his second game in the League, a 7-4 win over Team USA on October 8th, 2011. The native of Greece, New York celebrates his 20th birthday next month.

Hudson is joined by Ice teammate Christian Hilbrich who is also committed to play college hockey at Cornell University. Two other USHL players from the 2011-12 season are also committed to the school – Teemu Tiitinen of the Lincoln Stars and Gavin Stoick of Team USA.
