SilverBacks Name Strength & Conditioning Coach

The Salmon Arm SilverBacks are pleased to announce that Brandon Laverman is the Strength & Conditioning coach for this coming season. Brandon who is 23 years old is a personal trainer in Vernon, BC and a graduate from Body Blueprint Fitness as a certified trainer.

Brandon will also be getting his Hockey Canada Trainers certificate to help newly hired Troy Clifford with his duties off the ice. “Our players are going to benefit immensely from Brandon training them this year,” says Troy Mick. “He is young and is vibrant about having the player’s in top notch condition so they may perform at their best. The boys will know what work ethic is all about in the gym this coming season with Brandon!”

“I have a passion for fitness and have enjoyed fitness for many years and think it plays a big part in everyone’s life. I am here this year to help out with the team and make sure they succeed on being healthy and in shape for what I know will be a fabulous season of hockey this year,” says Brandon.

The SilverBacks would like to welcome Brandon to the organization and are looking forward to a great season with him on board.
