The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced today that its 18 teams will participate at the Ambassador’s Golf Tournament that’ll be held on September 19. “We are happy that all the clubs accepted the invitation,” declared the Commissioner Gilles Courteau. “This will create a great atmosphere in which former players will be able to play alongside representatives of our teams and set the foundation for a lasting bond.”
Alumni such as Richard Audette, Mario Therrien, Martin St-Amour, Jean-Guy Bergeron, Stéphane Fiset, Samy Nasreddine, Sylvain Deschatelets, Normand Lefrancois, Daniel Desjardins, Guy Darveau, Norman Desjardins and Alain Rioux have all confirmed their presence for the Golf Tournament. Moreover, many sponsors, partners and media will also be present.
Builders, former players and leaders are expected to this premiere.
The day will begin at 9 am with a brunch. At 10:30 the commissioner will conduct a press conference announcing the beginning of the 2012-2013 season. Shotgun will follow at noon with 144 players in attendance. To mark the end of the evening, a dinner cocktail will be served at 6pm.

The cost is $150 per person and $600 for a foursome. A separate package is available for the dinner cocktail portion of the event at a cost of $50. It’s important to note that profits made from the event will go to the Gervais Munger Educational Fund. We hope to see many of you during this day of festivities.
