Bombers To Honor 1992-93 Championship Team

This season marks the 20 year anniversary of the last Flin Flon Bomber team to win an SJHL Championship and team has earmarked a weekend to celebrate the accomplishment.

Flin Flon will welcome the players from the past during the September 28 & 29 weekend. On the 28th the Bombers will host the Weyburn Red Wings at the Whitney Forum and prior to the game the organization will honor the 92-93 club with a pre game ceremony were the team will get the chance to skate around with the cup, something they were unable to do 20 years ago when they won it on the road.

On September 29th the team will have an Alumni game pegging the 92-93 players against other Flin Flon Bomber Alumni, game time is 3:00 pm. Following the game will be a social event held at the Community Hall. Cost of the social is $10.00 for non Alumni.

The Canalta Cup will be at all events during the weekend.
