Hepso's huge night earns him his first BCHL POW nod

Alberni Valley Bulldogs forward Lars Hepso has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 16.

Hepso helped the 'Dogs to a pair of wins and went off for six points in an 8-7 overtime win against the Cowichan Valley Capitals.

The Penticton native registered a hat trick plus three assists in the win on home ice. The scoring outburst is the highest output for an individual so far in the 2012-13 season and Hepso currently leads the BCHL in scoring with seven goals and three assists.
