KALK COMMITS TO DARTMOUTH

Press Release

North York Rangers forward Corey Kalk (photo credit - Brian Watts/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Dartmouth College Big Green beginning with the 2015-16 ECAC season.

The 5'9", 145 lbs. native of Thornhill, Ontario joined the Rangers as a 17-year old last year for his rookie OJHL season and would taste instant success, finishing fifth on the club with 14 goals and sixth in overall scoring with 31 points. During the club's first round playoff loss to Toronto, Kalk would lead North York in scoring with four assists and six points. Entering his second season in the league, he will be counted on to be one of the team's leaders for 2012-13.

"Corey Kalk is a hard working kid with loads of offensive potential, but his real upside comes from how hard he competes," said Rangers Head Coach John Dean. "No one grew as fast as Corey did as a player last year. Dartmouth has just picked up a kid with a very bright future. We couldn't be happier as an organization."

Congratulations to Corey and we look forward to bigger and better things from him this year!
