KOOTENAY AND THE DRIVE 102.9 FM RENEW BROADCAST AGREEMENT

Press Release

Cranbrook, BC – The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club and The Drive 102.9 FM announced today they have agreed upon a new three year broadcasting agreement. The new agreement begins with the upcoming 2012-2013 season and will conclude at the end of the 2014-2015 campaign.

The agreement will continue with the same format as the past 12 years with all 72 regular season and playoff home and away games being broadcast live. Jeff Hollick will remain as the Play-By-Play voice of the ICE for the 14th consecutive season.

“We are very pleased to continue the excellent partnership between the ICE and The Drive. There are many individuals who are unable to attend our games and we are pleased to offer them the opportunity to stay connected with the team both at home and on the road with The Drive,” says ICE General Manager Jeff Chynoweth.

We're very pleased to continue our relationship with the ICE Organization.
The Kootenay ICE are an integral part of our community, we are proud of
our partnership, and to bring exciting local programming to our
listeners," says General Manager Leo Baggio of CHDR FM The Drive.
