MEDICINE HAT, AB - Medicine Hat Tigers announced this morning Assistant Coach Darren Kruger has been named to the position of Associate Coach.

“I have complete trust and confidence in Darren’s abilities as a coach and his commitment to our hockey team,” states Tigers’ Head Coach and newly appointed General Manager Shaun Clouston.

“This move recognizes Darren’s contribution to our success and reflects the added responsibilities he now accepts.”

“I appreciate the confidence Shaun and the Tigers organization have shown by providing me with the opportunity to become Associate Coach of the Medicine Hat Tigers,” said Kruger.

“With the additional responsibilities Shaun has accepted, it is a good feeling he can feel comfortable leaving everyday duties in my and Joey’s hands when he is not available.”
