Oil Kings Pre-Season Invitational

St. Albert, AB - Western Hockey League action is back and the Edmonton Oil Kings are set to defend their 2012 WHL Championship! It all starts with the 6th Annual Pre-Season Invitational presented by Elite Sportswear & Awards at Servus Credit Union Place in St. Albert.

This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, September 1st and Sunday, September 2nd with the Oil Kings welcoming five other Western Hockey League rivals: the Calgary Hitmen, Red Deer Rebels, Medicine Hat Tigers, Swift Current Broncos and Prince George Cougars.

Invitational Schedule: (All games to be held at the North Star Arena inside Servus Credit Union Place - 400 Campbell Road, St. Albert, AB)


SATURDAY
Game 1 - Red Deer vs. Prince George - 11:00 a.m.
Game 2 - Medicine Hat vs. Calgary - 3:00 p.m.
Game 3 - Swift Current vs. Edmonton - 7:00 p.m
SUNDAY
Game 4 - Prince George vs. Medicine Hat - 11:00 a.m.
Game 5 - Swift Current vs. Calgary - 3:00 a.m.
Game 6 - Red Deer vs Edmonton - 7:00 p.m.
