Oil Kings Trim Roster To 26

Edmonton, AB – The Edmonton Oil Kings have reassigned three prospects to their respective midget clubs following weekend exhibition action in Prince George. 16-year- old Oil Kings bantam draft picks Aaron Irving and Mitchell Walter as well as the newly signed Brandon Ralph were all reassigned Monday morning. The Oil Kings now hold a pre-season roster of 26 with two goaltenders, nine defensemen and 15 forwards. This group includes 20 veterans who were a part of last year's WHL Championship team.

Edmonton’s overall record in the 2012 pre-season is now 2-2-0-0 with the Oil Kings earning the split out of Prince George this past weekend. The club's final tune up of the exhibition season will take place this Friday, September 14th against the Red Deer Rebels in Lacombe, AB.
