Vees Add Goaltending Depth

Press Release

The Kingston Voyageurs have reached a verbal agreement to acquire 19 year old goaltender Victor Adamo from the Vaughan Vipers. Adamo has spent the last three seasons with the Vipers and will come to Kingston to help insulate Charlie Finn.

“We know that Charlie was challenged a lot last year and we want to make sure he is protected so that other teams think twice about taking those liberties with him,” said Head Coach Colin Birkas.

Adamo posted a 20-11-1 record last season with a 3.15 goals against average and a .899 save percentage. In three seasons in Vaughan, he has 52 wins, a .902 save percentage and 3.06 goals against average in 95 career games.

The Vees are back in action tonight in Wellington and host the Dukes on Sunday afternoon
