A pair of Nipawin players in the spotlight this week

SJHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tad Kozun, Nipawin Hawks

1993 F Tad Kozun (Nipawin SK) busted out in a big way over the last seven days as he set up all three of his team’s goals in a 3-1 victory over the La Ronge Ice Wolves on Tuesday night.  Friday, he lit up the Weyburn Red Wings to the tune of two goals and three assists in a decisive 11-4 win.  For the season, the second year forward has 3-goals and 9-assists in 8-games as he appears to be fully recovered from a serious injury last year.

SJHL DEFENSEMAN OF THE WEEK
Brody Luhning, Battlefords North Stars

1992 D Brody Luhning (Lumsden SK ) collected three points in three games played last week and now has 5-goals and 5-assists in 7-games this year.  Luhning had a key powerplay goal in the third period of a close game on Thursday against Notre Dame, and then followed it up with a two assist effort one night later in Flin Flon in a tight one goal loss.
SJHL GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
Matt Hrynkiw, Humboldt Broncos

1992 G Matt Hrynkiw (Saskatoon SK) turned aside all twenty-two shots he faced on Friday night as the Humboldt Broncos defeated the Estevan Bruins 2-0.  Hrynkiw has now posted two shutouts in seven games this season and, dating back to last year, has gone 27-and-5 in his last 32-starts overall.  For this season, Hrynkiw is 5-and-2, 1.82, .932.

1995 F Dexter Bricker (Saskatoon SK) had a breakout game on Friday night against the Weyburn Red Wings on Friday night as he tallied his first three goals of the season in an 11-4 win.  On Tuesday, Bricker ha
