Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatoon Blades are proud to announce that they have acquired Red Deer Rebels captain Adam Kambeitz.
In exchange for Kambeitz, the Rebels receive forward Christian Stockl and a 3rd round pick in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.
Kambeitz, from Coaldale, Alberta is in his 20 year old season in the
Western Hockey League, having spent the previous 4 seasons with the
Rebels. In 9 games this season, the left-winger has posted 4 assists, a
-1 rating and 10 penalty minutes.
With the acquisition, the Blades now have four 20 year olds on their
roster with Kambeitz joining Josh Nicholls, Brenden Walker and Connor
Cox.
The Saskatoon Blades would like to welcome Adam Kambeitz and his
family to the organization. The Blades would also like to thank
Christian Stockl for his time with the team and would like to wish him
the best of luck going forward in his WHL career.
