AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Bulls continue to fine tune their roster.
The Bulls announced today (Thursday) they have traded defenseman Cody Rodgers to the North Division’s Janesville Jets.
Rodgers, a native of
Coppell, TX, had no points in two games for the Bulls but was plus one.
The 5-11, 180 pound defenseman played the two games at the recent North
American Hockey League Showcase in Blaine Minnesota, suiting up against
the Wenatchee Wild and Springfield Jr. Blues.
Last year Rodgers was
called up to the Bulls Roster on several different occasions from his
Dallas Stars Under 18 club. In three games, Rodgers had one assist and
was a plus six. In 2011-2012 with the Dallas Stars Under 18 program,
Rodgers had 13 goals and 10 assists for 23 points in 40 games. Three of
those 13 goals were collected on the power play.
