Bulls Welcome Brandon Flood To Roster

Press Release

AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Bulls added more scoring to its roster on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bulls announced that forward Brandon Flood has joined the team and will be in the line-up this weekend for a pair of games against the Texas  Tornado.

Flood, a native of Mason, Michigan, split time last season (2011-2012) between the Kalamazoo  Wings and the former Chicago Hitmen. In 23 games with the Hitmen, the 5'-10", 180 pound forward notched seven goals and added 10 assists for 17 points and 57 penalty minutes. Flood then moved over to the Kalamazoo Wings where he collected seven more goals and picked up 20 assists for 27 points in 69 penalty minutes. He had a combined 139 shots on goal.

Flood played in eight games with the Wings to begin this season and posted two goals and four assists for six points.

Bulls Head Coach Dennis Williams said Flood is good friends with defenseman Karl Beckman and the two spent time together recently at Holy Cross where Brandon was on an official visit .

"We're happy to have Brandon join us," said Bulls Head Coach Dennis Williams. "He put up some good numbers when he was with Kalamazoo. He's got a lot of jam to him and I think he will fit in well with our guys down here. Our job is to get him ready for the next level."

Brandon Flood and his new Bulls' teammates entertain the Texas Tornado on Friday and Saturday at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. Come out and support Breast Cancer Awareness on Friday with Pink It Out Night. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and they can also buy pink t-shirts  at the game with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Breast Cancer. On Saturday fans can dress up  and take part in a Halloween Costume Contest. One lucky fan could go home with a snowboard.
