The Colorado Rampage all time leading goal scorer Jono
Davis has committed to a scholarship to play for legendary coach Dean
Blais at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Jono played for the
Colorado Rampage from 2009-2011 scoring over 100 goals during that time.
Jono had several schools to choose from and when he met with coach
Blais he said "it just felt right, Coach Blais, the school, rink
everything just felt right". During the 2011-2012 Season Jono started
the year with his USHL draft team the Cedar Rapids Roughriders before
being traded to dubuqe and playing on a line with Buffalo Sabres first
round pick Zemgus Girgensons.
Jono is currently playing for the Wenatchee Wild leading the entire
NAHL in scoring in 8 games he has 8 goals with 6 assist for 14 points.
"Jono has worked hard paid the price and made the commitment to be a
Division 1 hockey player. The road can be a tough one at times and
really test these young man on their passion of the game and we couldn't
he happier it worked out for Jono" stated Rampage head Coach and
director Andrew Sherman.
