Dusyk Commits to the University of Alaska Ancourage

The Bonnyville Pontiacs are pleased to announce that 20-year-old forward Tanner Dusyk of Monmarte, Saskatchewan has verbally committed to attend the University of Alaska Ancourage beginning in the fall of 2013.

Tanner Dusyk was the Pontiacs leading scorer during the 2011/12 season and is currently tied for first place in the Alberta Junior Hockey League scoring race with 15 points in 12 games this season.

Based in Ancourage, Alaska the Ancourage Seawolves play in NCAA Division I Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). The team also has former Bonnyville Pontiac and 2011/12 AJHL Defenseman of the Year Blake Leask playing on the team.

The Pontiacs it's fans and the community would like to congratulate Tanner and his family for his accomplishment and we look forward to his continued success this season as well as in his future at the University of Alaska Ancourage playing for the Seawolves.
