Gatineau to retire Maxime Talbot number

Gatineau, October 16th, 2012 – The Gatineau Olympiques organization will honor the former Olympiques, Maxime Talbot by hosting is number 25 in the heights of the Robert Guertin Centre on October 26th, 2012.

Maxime has marked the history of the Olympiques by winning the President cup in 2003 and 2004 in addition to winning on each occasion the Trophy Guy-Lafleur handed to the most valuable player of the playoffs. In 249 games in the QMJHL, the former captain of the Olympiques scored 110 goals, 189 assists for a total of 299 points. He has also won the silver medal with Team Canada at the World Junior Championship in 2004.

The season ticket holders can register via the official web site of the team or at the Robert-Guertin Centre for a chance to meet with Talbot and to obtain his autograph. The draw will be held next Monday.
