Courtnall signs NAHL tender with Texas Tornado

The Omaha AAA Lancers, proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL), are pleased to announce that 16U forward Lawton Courtnall has signed an NAHL Tender with the Texas Tornado for the 2013-14 season.

Courtnall , from Westlake Village, California is in his first season playing for the Omaha AAA organization is also receiving a lot of NCAA Division I interest at this time.

So far this season Courtnall has amassed 10 goals, 15 assists and 25 points to go along with 24 PIM in 28 games.  In NAPHL action he currently has 5 goals and 5 assists for 10 points in 8 league games held to date.
The Omaha AAA 16U program is quickly becoming known as one of the top midget programs in the country and Courtnall is another player in a long line of players moving on to the junior ranks from the Nebraska program.
