Introducing 'Keeping Head Strong'

Press Release

The Kitchener Rangers are proud to announce the launch of ‘Keeping Head Strong’, a blog written by Ben Fanelli, Rangers defenceman and founder of Head Strong: Fanelli 4 Brain Injury Awareness.

The online journal will allow Fanelli the opportunity to share his experiences, both past and present, as he continues to promote awareness surrounding brain injuries. The Rangers’ assistant captain founded Head Strong in March 2011, after he was sidelined by a serious injury. Now fully recovered, Fanelli is planning to use his blog to raise awareness and to share his personal optimism.

“’Keeping Head Strong’ is important to me because it’s another way to promote Head Strong, but it also promotes positivity,” explains Ben.

“It’s a good tool to help me maintain a good, healthy mindset.”

Fanelli’s introductory post can be read now at http://kitchenerrangers.com/blogs/keeping-head-strong.
In conjunction with the launch of ‘Keeping Head Strong’, Ben and the Rangers have teamed up to create Head Strong bracelets, a tool to help raise awareness. The bracelets will go on sale Friday, November 16 at Rangers Authentics, the official retail outlet of the Kitchener Rangers. Head Strong bracelets will be sold for $2 dollars each, and a photo is included in Ben’s blog.
