LANCERS D TUCKER POOLMAN COMMITS TO NORTH DAKOTA

Ralston, Neb. – The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are pleased to announce that Tucker Poolman has committed to the University of North Dakota.  The first-year defenseman from East Grand Forks, Minnesota will join the Fighting Sioux when his junior career is complete.

A 6’3”, 190-pound defender, Poolman has registered three goals, three assists and six points in his first 13 games with the Lancers.  Poolman currently ranks second among all Omaha defensemen in scoring and enters the week tied for seventh among all USHL blueliners in total points.

Originally selected 38th overall (Round 3) by the Lancers in the 2012 USHL Entry Draft, Poolman spent last season with the Wichita Falls Wildcats of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) where he tallied seven goals, 22 assists and 29 points in 59 games.
