Newmarket Hurricanes forward Jeff Murray (photo credit - Gary Keys/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Canisius College Golden Griffins beginning with the 2014-15 Atlantic Hockey season.
The 5'11", 165 lbs. native of Newmarket, who would finish his midget
career as a member of the Markham Waxers Midget 'AAA' squad last season,
representing the club in the OMHA Prospects Game, while also getting
the call to play three games for the Aurora Tigers. Murray joins the
Hurricanes this season as a 17-year old rookie and has recorded four
goals and eight points in 17 games played.
Congratulations to Jeff on the commitment and we look forward to watching the next two seasons in Newmarket!
