SOURCE EMBROIDERY POWER RANKINGS

Press Release

1-MELVILLE MILLIONAIRES (13-3-0-1) … 1st last week
Mils finally lose Sunday night to the Broncos, although Coach Fiesel said earlier in the week, “We have played like we are trying to lose.”
2-FLIN FLON BOMBERS (13-3-0-0) … 3rd last week
They’ve rattled off five in a row now after dropping three straight.
3-HUMBOLDT BRONCOS (11-5-1-0) … 4th last week
They’ve been a little up and down, but numerous key players have been out of the line-up
4-YORKTON TERRIERS (12-5-0-1) … 2nd last week
Are they going to do this three-headed goalie monster AGAIN?

5-NOTRE DAME HOUNDS (9-6-0-2) … 6th last week
Three straight wins and getting closer to the top of the division than they are to the bottom of it.
6-NIPAWIN HAWKS (6-6-1-3) …5th last week
They haven’t been bad, haven’t been great.  Maybe a bit disappointing?  Winless in five.

7-ESTEVAN BRUINS (6-8-2-0) … 10th last week
Batting over .500 in their last ten, they are quietly getting themselves straightened out.
8-BATTLEFORDS NORTH STARS (7-8-0-0) … 9th last week
It seems like they are always one up and one down.  They enter this week on an up.
9-KINDERSLEY KLIPPERS (6-8-1-1) … 8th last week
The goals against have been a little too high lately.
10-MELFORT MUSTANGS (6-9-0-1) … 7th last week
Lowest scoring team in the SJHL needs more offense.
11-WEYBURN RED WINGS (5-12-0-0) … 12th last week
Boucher addition seems to have turned things around despite McMillan absence.
12-LA RONGE ICE WOLVES (5-9-0-3) … 11th last week
Long on heart, short on talent, especially with goal scorer Dieno gone to the WJAC.
WHO’S HOT
Joey Davies, Humboldt (9-7-7-14) … You could see the talent was there last  year, just too many guys in front of him.

Brandon Millin, Notre Dame (4-2-5-7) … Hounds’ top scorer now one of the league’s best.
Tyler Giebel, Yorkton (4-5-2-7) … Don’t be surprised if he’s Yorkton’s leading scorer by end of the season.
Mitch Boucher, Notre Dame (4-1-5-6) … Grolla gets well deserved props, but Boucher equally a key.
Daylan Gatzke, Yorkton (4-4-2-6) … Not a big time scorer in midget, he’s finding net regularly in junior.
Miguel Pereira, Weyburn (6-3-10-13) … there is just no stopping him.
Ryan Ostertag, Weyburn (6-7-5-12) … terrific fit alongside Pereira.
Sam Williams, Weyburn (4-3-5-8) … rounds out the big trio for Wings.
Devin Buffalo, Flin Flon (4-0, 0.50, 2SO, .981) … as close to unbeatable as you get last two weeks.
Myles Hovdebo, La Ronge (2-0, 2.00, .959) … new competition from Sydora has raised his game.
Jean-Philippe Boucher, Weyburn (2-0, 1.50, .952) … new man in town between the pipes for Weyburn.
Ty Reichenbach, Notre Dame (4-1-0-1, 2.00, 2SO, .933) … red hot three weeks for second year starter.
