Coach Vandekamp:  " We are very excited that Garrett has decided to play for the Clippers next season.  We have gotten to know him well this season, as he has played as an Affiliate Player for us and we have had a chance to watch him play for the Bucs.  He is a highly skilled player, who competes hard every shift.  He plays a complete game and has an extremely bright future in the BCHL and beyond.  We are very proud to add another young local player to our fold.  Most importantly we know that Garrett has great character and work ethic and is going to fit very well into the culture we have here. We'd like to welcome Garrett and his Family to the Clippers and wish him and his Nanaimo Buccaneers teammates all the best in the remainder of the playoffs."
