Kings’ Gaudet named RBC Player of Month

The RBC Player of the Month for February is Jon Gaudet of the Dauphin Kings.

The 20-year-old Winnipeg product led all scorers in February with 24 points (14-10) in 11 games. The The runners up are 20 year old forward Jesse Sinatynski of the Dauphin Kings and 20 year old forward Jeremy Olinyk of the Winnipeg Blues.

Sherwood Hockey Defenseman of the Month

Tip of the hat to D-man Tanner Butler of the Dauphin Kings. In addition to his strong play along the blueline, the 19-year-old led all defensemen in scoring with 17 points (1-16) in February.

The runners up are 20 year old Kyle Rous of the Steinbach Pistons and 20 year old David Haaf of the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.

MGEU Goaltender of the Month

For the second consecutive month, Isaiah Plett of the Winnipeg Blues has been awarded this honour. The 19-year-old recorded one shutout and posted a 6-0 record last month. His GAA was a stellar 1.33, with a .956 save percentage.

The runners up are 20 year old Jeremy Pominville of the Dauphin Kings and 19 year old Byron Spriggs of the Winnipeg Blues.

IBAM Rookie of the Month

For the second consecutive month Tristan Keck of the Winkler Flyers has been named rookie of the month. The product of Morris recorded 13 points (5-8) in February.

The runners up are 17 year old forward Drake Lindsay of the Neepawa Natives and 18 year old goaltender Brenden Fiebelkorn of the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.
