Press Release
The 2012/2013 MJHL season has been one of change for the MJHL. The
arrival of Junior A hockey to Virden meant a change in schedules, a
change in jerseys, and now, a change in video.
The league’s new promotional and informational video released today
features all 11 teams. Comments from league commissioner Kim Davis are
included, along with Winnipeg Blues and recent World Under-17 Hockey
Challenge head coach Don MacGillivray, and university recruited players
Hudson Friesen (Selkirk Steelers) and Paul Stoykewych (Winnipeg Blues).
“The Manitoba Junior Hockey League is proud to continue in its
efforts as an elite developmental league for players who aspire to
higher levels of hockey including College, Major Junior and professional
hockey opportunities,” said Davis. “This new league focused video
promotes the positive attributes of the league that will be of interest
to players, parents and supporters of the league.”
