QMJHL AND DICKIES ANNOUNCE HARDEST WORKING PLAYER OF THE YEAR

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in association with Williamson-Dickie Canada Co., makers of quality workwear, are pleased to congratulate Darcy Ashley of the Halifax Mooseheads as the QMJHL Dickies Hardest Working Player of the Year. Darcy Ashley’s dependability, quality of play, and commitment during the regular season has earned him the QMJHL’s top honour in this category.

Darcy Ashley is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship, $200 in Dickies merchandise, and a custom Dickies Hardest Working Player of the Game jersey.

“I would like to congratulate Darcy Ashley for his hard work throughout the 2012-13 season. There is no doubt in my mind that he deserves this hard-fought honour. Darcy Ashley has been a key component to the Mooseheads’ success all season long. In closing, the QMJHL is proud to be able to count on the support of partners such as Williamson-Dickie Canada Co. who motivate our players to push their talent even further,” said Commissioner Gilles Courteau.
