KENT, April 5, 2013 — Seattle Thunderbirds left wing Alexander Delnov has joined the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League (AHL).
The Rampage is the AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers. Delnov was selected by the Panthers in the fourth round, 114th overall, in the 2012 NHL Draft.
This past season Delnov had 49 points on 20 goals and 29 assists in 69 games for the T-Birds.
The T-Birds selected Delnov in the first round, eighth overall, in the 2012 CHL Import Draft.
Delnov played for Mytischi Atlanty in the Russian Junior league during the 2011-12 season. He appeared in 47 games and had 11 goals and 11 assists for 22 points with 16 penalty minutes.
Delnov represented Russia at the U-18 World Championships in April 2012. He appeared in six games and had a goal and two assists with 12 penalty minutes.
