Five Generals Move up to the AHL

Boone Jenner, Scott Laughton, Tyler Biggs, Lucas Lessio and Scott Sabourin have all been called up to join their respective AHL (American Hockey League) clubs.

Boone will play for the Blue Jackets’ affiliate, the Springfield Falcons, who currently sit second in the Eastern Conference, and are currently leading their division. Scott Laughton will be joining the Adirondack Phantoms, who sit last in the Eastern Conference with 63 points, and are the AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers. Biggs will be joining the Toronto Marlies, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, currently sitting second in the Western Conference and lead their division. Lucas will be joining the Portland Pirates, the affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes. They currently sit 6th in the Eastern Conference with 81 points. The recently signed Scott Sabourin will join the Manchester Monarchs who sit 10th in the Eastern Conference with 71 points. The Monarchs are the AHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings.
