Gamblers tender a pair of forwards

Press Release

The Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are pleased to announce that forwards Jr. Gates and Aaron O’Neill have informed the team of their intent to play for the Gamblers next season.

“We are excited about the addition of Jr. and Aaron,” said Associate Head Coach Pat Mikesch, “These are two players that fit our brand of hockey and are physically ready to play in the USHL. Ultimately this will help to secure our future.”

Gates comes to the Gamblers via the High Performance Hockey League where he played for the Compuware U16 program. The Grand Rapids, Michigan native is committed to Notre Dame and is scheduled to play for Irish in 2015.

O’Neill had a break-out year tallying 25 goals and 39 assists this season with the TPH Thunder U16 Team and is touted as one of, if not the best, prospect that Middle Tennessee has produced.
