Wayne, NJ- The Jersey Hitmen are proud to announce that 1992-born forward Nick Lotito has committed to Sacred Heart University for the fall of 2013. Lotito, a hard-nosed, power forward, was instrumental in the Hitmen's Dineen Cup Championship run. A member of the Jersey Hitmen Empire team in the inaugural season of 2008-2009 and in 2009-2010, Lotito finished his junior career with the Hitmen at the EJHL level this season.
"I am very excited for Nick," commented coach Toby Harris. "He is the epitome of a player you love to have on your roster, but hate to play against. He comes to work every day and earns every inch he gets. Lotito's character, drive and toughness will make him an instant fan favorite at Sacred Heart next season. I wish Nick nothing but the best at the next level!"
Lotito becomes the 21st division one NCAA commitment for the Hitmen and 22nd college commitment this season.
