OJHL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

Please be advised the Ontario Junior Hockey League will be hosting a very special pre-game ceremony prior to game one of the OJHL Championship Series, where the year-end award winners will be presented with their commemorative award.

Eight of the year-end OJHL Award winners are expected to be in attendance and will be honoured prior to game one on Wednesday, April 10 at the St. Michael’s College School Arena in Toronto, Ontario.  Game time is 7:00pm.

Confirmed to be in attendance are:

Participating in the Championship Series:

Jordan Dunin (Newmarket Hurricanes) – Scholastic Player of the Year
Matt Buckles (St. Michael’s Buzzers) – Top Prospect
Patrick McCarron (St. Michael’s Buzzers) – Baycon Construction Top Defenceman

Non-participating Award Winners:

Tyler Feaver (Whitby Fury) – Humanitarian of the Year
Dean Klomp (Lindsay Muskies) – Most Gentlemanly Player
Charlie Finn (Kingston Voyageurs) – Top Goaltender & Goaltender of the Year
Jack Williams (Buffalo Jr. Sabres) – Trainer of the Year
Tyler Gjurich (Buffalo Jr. Sabres) – Top Scorer, Rookie of the Year & MVP

Unavailable to attend:
Michael Peca (Buffalo Jr. Sabres) – Executive & Coach of the Year
John Carpino (North York Rangers) – Most Improved Player
Mike Johnson (Orangeville Flyers) – Volunteer of the Year

Below is the full schedule for the 2012 OJHL Championship best-of-seven series to be played between the North-West Conference champion Stouffville Spirit and the South-East Conference champion Whitby Fury:
