Steel Goaltender Commits to Union College

Press Release

Chicago Steel goaltender Alex Sakellaropoulos has committed to begin his NCAA hockey career next season at Union College.

Over his USHL career, the Tinley Park, Illinois native has a 28-30-3 record with a 3.17 GAA, .909 SV%, and two shutouts.

Four other current USHL players are also committed to play hockey at Union College; Jeff Taylor (Dubuque Fighting Saints), Matthew Krug (Indiana Ice), Tyler Hynes (Omaha Lancers), and Michael Vecchione (Tri-City Storm).
