Daniel Taillefer of the Steinbach Pistons has been named the Recycle Everywhere-MJHL Player of the Week, ending April 14.
The 17-year-old forward was hero of the hour last Saturday, scoring the overtime winner in Game 4 of the MJHL final against Dauphin Kings. His OT winner capped a career game as it was his third goal of the game. In total, the La Broquerie native recorded five points (4-1) in three playoff games.
The runners up are 20 year old forward Jesse Sinatynski of the Dauphin Kings and 19 year old forward Justin Augert of the Steinbach Pistons.
